Sidgwick prize, summer courses 2025
ABOUT
Sidgwick Prize summer courses are for middle-school and high-school aged students (13-18 years old). We offer a range of programmes tailored to students from a variety of academic interests and backgrounds.
Our courses are not degree-conferring or credential-conferring programmes administered by the University of Cambridge. However, the courses are designed to help students prepare for applications to Cambridge and other leading Universities.
LOCATION
Sidgwick Prize summer courses take place each year in Cambridge, England. The courses use accommodation, dining, classroom and seminar facilities of the constituent Colleges of the University of Cambridge.
FACULTY
The Sidgwick Prize summer course's Faculty are academics at the University of Cambridge and other renowned universities in the United Kingdom, including the University of Oxford, the London School of Economics, Imperial College, and University College London.
OUR STUDENTS
Our students come from all over the world and we welcome students from a diverse range of academic backgrounds and countries.
PROGRAMMES
Sidgwick Prize summer courses are tailored personally for each student. Each course typically occurs over one week in the summer break of the University of Cambridge, when the University’s Colleges allow us to use their facilities. We combine seminar and one-to-one teaching to mirror the experience of undergraduates in the University of Cambridge. Our courses focus on the eight academic disciplines of the Sidgwick Prize essay competition:

● Art History
Students are welcome to combine subject choices from any of the eight areas into a personally-tailored timetable.
